The coin is cast of a heavyweight copper and antiqued as imitation currency.  It is approximately 1.5 in round
 
The carving is modeled after the 19th century image of a Sabbatic Goat, created by Eliphas Levi. The arms bear the Latin words SOLVE (separate) and COAGULA (join together), i.e., the power of "binding and loosing. 
 
The term Baphomet may have come from two Greek words, baphe and metis, meaning absorption of knowledge.
